Cleaning Your 420SS Cap

To help prevent surface rust, avoid leaving the cap wet or allowing it to air dry.

1. Clean with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol (ISO). Wipe or gently clean the cap to remove residue and buildup. Avoid prolonged soaking when it isn’t necessary.
2. If a water rinse is needed, rinse briefly with clean water. Do not leave the cap sitting in water.
3. Dry immediately and thoroughly with a clean, lint-free towel.
4. Allow the cap to finish drying completely in a clean, dry area before storage or use.

Note: 420SS is stainless steel, but it is more susceptible to surface rust than 316L stainless steel. Leaving moisture on the surface can increase the chance of surface rust, so thoroughly drying the cap after cleaning is recommended.
